If you are new to Singapore or need a refresher crash course on Singapore history, this is the perfect tour for you. On this 3 hour walk our guide Helena Yeo will present you 700 years in a nutshell.
Starting from Singapore's earliest settlements near Fort Canning Hill where 5 ancient kings ruled Singapura, we walk to the banks of the Singapore river to discover 13th century spice entrepôts and on to later structures that bear witness to the arrival of the British in 1819. Come hear the stories of how Singapore transformed from a 19th century Maritime port in the colonial era into the present day financial center and how it plans for the future as a 21st century global city.
Feel free to stay on for lunch after the tour.
