Marina Bay Sands offers shopping, F&B outlets, two casinos, a convention centre and attractions, but there is much more to discover. When the famous architect Moshe Safdi designed Marina Bay Sands (MBS) he collaborated with international renowned artists in order to enhance the building with their unique artworks.
The architect launched the "Art Path" project in April 2010 with eight large-scale art installations which were commissioned when the project initially started. Today there are a total of eleven of them for visitors to enjoy and explore, which is exactly what we'll do during this tour.
Our guide Sarah, a contemporary art docent, will take us through the hotel towers, shopping mall and promenade and will share along the way the various artists' backgrounds, the inspiration for the artworks, how they were chosen for specific sites and the process of installing them.
At the end of this tour you will have a different perspective and appreciation of this iconic building.
